Attitude of Gratitude

HAPPY THANKSGIVING from Healing Spirits!

We have crossed that threshold and are moving towards winter. We are called inward, quite literally from chilly weather and darker days, to stoke the fire inside.

One way I like to stoke my fire at this time of year is to engage in the tradition of practicing gratitude. If I am feeling good, it is easy. My list flows. If I don’t feel so good, sometimes it takes a minute, but as soon as I can think of one single thing I am thankful for (complimentary ginger chews at the Bodywork Bistro front desk), then I can easily find another, and another, until I have far too many things to count.

I’m thankful for the first snow that recently fell so beautifully outside Healing Spirits while we were warm inside, learning.
